Greek Monastery

Got the cast off the foot in March...had a lot of swelling,kept it iced doing real good have some swelling if Iam on it a long time. Went to the Greek monastery April 4th with Rick and Linda Phillips it is located in Florence, Az. there is 6 chapels dedicated to different Saints. We as the girls had to wear a long skirt, cover our arms and wear a scarf on the head. We were beautiful. The guys had to wear long pants and have their arms covered. We were not allowed to talk to the monks on the grounds, could go into the chapels but couldn't go behind the curtains. Went into the monks dining room around lunch it sure smelled good. They have several acres with the Monastery. It is very quiet and serene out there..Beautiful grounds.

Ankle

Went to ER, they took xrays and found that I broke the inside of the left ankle and fractured the outside of the left ankle. Went to Orthopedic Dr. they put me in a hard cast and will be wearing it for 6 to 8 weeks.
Feb. 15 went back to Orthopedic Dr. he took xrays said the fracture and break was in line and could possibily get the cast off by March 22.

We are in Benson ....will leave here Sunday 20th for Casa Grande to stay for 2 weeks.

We are back in Casa Grande, just spent 5 days in the desert with Jake ,Nancy, Mike (Jakes Brother),Linda, Marty, Sherry, Gary , Dawnett , Jack and Sharyl. Nice weather and a good time.
Was cleaning the woodwork, fell of the chair sprained left ankle now I can't hardly get around.
The weather is cold in the evening it was 21 last night. Nice during the day. Will stay here for 2 weeks then head for Benson for a week and see Vonnie and Kirby.
