Yellowstone Nat'l Park with co-pilot Doris

The four of us spent the day in Yellowstone Nat'l Park
 we drove 133 miles and only did half the park
tomorrow we will do the upper half , we saw a
herd of Buffalo today and that was all the animals
There is a fire in the park, so maybe the animals are on           Old Faithful

the upper rim.

Rexburg, Id. Aug. 27, 2012

We are in Rexburg, Ida. at Thompson R. V. Park....This is what the guys do and Doris and I do the hard work like go shopping. Rexburg is a very clean and friendly town ,Will head for Yellowstone tomorrow to see ole faithful.  The weather has been beautiful warm during the day and cool at night.

Saturday we left Mountain Home and made the trip thru the crater of the Moon. We call it Lava.  It was really black and they had walking trails thru it.
Sunday we spent in Idaho Falls at the Elks lodge.
Monday we are staying in Rexburg for two nights and this is where we met up with Doris and Rudy.
Wednesday we will be in Yellowstone....Yah.
The weather is nice. Now we can set out side and have coffee with some  friends.

Last night we spent the night in Nyssa, Or.
today we are in Mountain Home, Id. at Fort Running
Bear RV Park...its at the end of the road 3 miles of gravel
This is a picture of our neighbors. they are all over the park.

There is a fire over the ridge from the park it has destroyed

East Coast Travels

Aug. 22, 2012

We are heading for the North East part of the states. Will be joining two other couples One couple in Yellowstone and then we will pick up the other couple in Chappel, Neb.
We stopped in Redmond had lunch with some friends , now on the way to Prineville will spend the night at the Elks Lodge.
The big trek was big 145 Miles.
Oh boy, to be on the road again....can't wait.
My favorite computer guru cleaned up my computer and helped me get the blog started.
