This is located in the middle of nowhere. It was 1.1 mile walk to the end, thought we would find the mine but no luck. Saw a lot of deer and antelope.

We decided to go see the Gila (Heela) Cliff Dwellings. This is 44 miles from Silver City, so off we go with picnic in hand follow the cow trail (highway 15) up and down we were as high as 7,000 ft.. Its half a mile up to the dwelling went into the caves the altitude is 6,000 ft. and I was a little dizzier than normal.
